Our social media

Social media community guidelines

We’re here to empower the communities of Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and Te Tai Tokerau (Northland) with information about the COVID-19 vaccination rollout on Facebook and Instagram.

We welcome interaction with our social media pages, but to make sure that they remain a safe place we ask that people follow our community guidelines:

  • Be respectful
  • Any harmful content will be hidden or removed. This includes misinformation, irrelevant information, offensive language, hate speech, profanity and spam. If you post harmful content more than once, you may be banned or blocked.

We do not provide personalised health advice on social media. If you need personalised health advice, call Healthline on 0800 611 116. In an emergency, call 111.

By following or ‘liking’ content on social media from a person or organisation on Facebook, we do not necessarily endorse their views or guarantee that the information is factually accurate.
Comments expressed on our Facebook page are solely those of the person or organisation who makes them. Liking, replying or failing to remove such comments does not mean that we endorse the views expressed.

Raising concerns

If you find content on our social media pages which you believe breaches these guidelines, or you have concerns about the way we use social media, let us know by emailing vaxenquiries@adhb.govt.nz.
